App Profiler helps identify areas of storage that can be better optimized. Prior to allocating more disk space to database applications, a storage administrator can verify that pre-allocated storage has been used or will be used over a period of time. Many times the administrator will find free space that can be re-allocated vs. acquiring additional disks.
